What do you prefer to eat with wine? When all is said and done, there's nothing better than cheese. There's one thing you may notice about both wine and cheese. It is fermenting food. Basically all manner of wine goes particularly well with cheese, because the essential amino acids in cheese promote to break down alcohol. Nevertheless, I always spent a lot of time to select a fitting one to wine among various cheeses. So today, I will give some tips to select a great cheese to wine.

Let's look at blue cheese for a dessert wine first. The most typical blue cheeses are Roquefort, Gorgonzola, and Stilton. The blue cheese is left to age for long time and tastes strongly salty. It is this salty taste that enriches the sweet flavor of dessert wine. That's why the blue cheese goes well with a sweet dessert wine such as French Sauternes or Germany Trockenbeerenauslese.

Next we will see parmesan, gruyere, and cheddar. Even though I usually enjoy these with red wine, they have their own flavor with different red wine. Most of all, the representative hard cheese is parmesan. Pouring some honey over parmesan is the better way to appreciate its flavor with medium bodied red wine like French Beaujolais. And gruyere, the typical cheese in Switzerland, is mostly used in the fondue. Its mild creamy flavors make me savoring with Australian Shiraz which is very strong flavor. The last thing is cheddar that is familiar with sandwich. Actually you may enjoy this cheese with French Merlot which is medium bodied red wine, also high-acid white wines with a long period of aging.

Who doesn't love the taste of mozzarella cheese? It goes well not only with pizza but French chardnonnay which is kind of white wine and isn't aged in oak casks. Fresh milk flavor in mozzarella cheese itself adds flavor to white wine.

Selecting great cheese with wine is too tricky, because there are too many cheeses and wines in the world. The reason why I categorize cheeses according to kind of wine is the most common foods. However, the more I know, the more I enjoy the taste of cheese in different ways. From now on, you also have a choice of various cheeses when you drink wine.

Many people don't know well about cheese. So your choice of the theme is fascinating to me. Your essay shows vast array of cheese with full of examples.

But since cheese is western dish, so you mentioned a lot of western food, and it was not that clear to me. I suggest you to have some brief explanation of the food.

  2. Hey girl!^^

First of all, I like your theme.
Personally, I like wine. But,so far I didn't know what does go well with wine. Thank you for your information.

your hook is very good. But, your standard of classifying is not clear like I said yesterday class. If you make more clear classifying, it might be better. And try to make every sentence simple and easy.

Overall you did a good job!! ^^
